The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is expanding the Discounted Rain Barrel Program (yes, we have a Discounted Rain Barrel Program) to help capture rain water that can eventually be used as potable water. A new partnership will expand the program to the city’s schools, helping to reduce our impact on the environment and teach those kiddies a thing or two. Win/win, eh?
