SF Usual Suspects

School shortfall

According to a recent report out of UC Berkeley, the San Francisco Unified School District is sitting on a gold mine: its 200 buildings and 9 million square feet of open space.  In order to help reduce their deficit, the School Board will consider renting out the space to community groups.  Just think, the next time your community meeting runs long, you just might be able to color or finger-paint to pass the time.  Sounds like a win-win to me!
