Picking up the tab
The caseload over at the public defender’s office is up over 30% from last year, and with that increase comes a need for more dollars (and sense, but that’s another story for another day). The City has agreed to release reserve funds to help pick up the tab but also wants a more detailed report about the cases coming in the door.
