After nearly more than two decades since the Central Freeway was torn down, the Board of Supervisors approved a plan to replace the vacant lots that sit so pretty (not) on Octavia Boulevard between Hayes and Linden streets. Included in the plans are community art galleries, small eateries, and (drumroll, please) a German beer garden! Danke, Supes, danke!
