Nope - none of the usual names apply this morning - seek for Bevan/David/Dennis/Ed/Jeff/Johanna/John/Leland/Michela/Phil/Tony and you shall NOT find. But Jake? Seek for Jake, and you will find that the Chron has named him Mayor of Haight Street. And what kind of yellow journalism is THIS - they explain that the Mayor of Haight Street has a “secret spot” on his neck where he likes to be scratched. Hey, Chron - some things are PERSONAL. (Unless, I guess, you’re a dog. Dogs probably won’t be calling the Chron to complain about this inappropriate focus on Jake’s anatomy and canceling their subscriptions…)

Fourth Time’s a Charm?

Name recognition (this is his fourth attempt at winning the seat) and an offer to “provide leadership the office hasn’t had.”
