More police to patrol Mid-Market
Chronicle columnist C.W. Nevius reports that a new police department substation will open next week on Sixth Street to help with the turnover of officers patrolling mid-Market. The added presence of our guys and gals in blue is aimed at curbing drug sells and smartphone muggings in particular. With the extra eyes on the street, I know I’ll feel much safer uploading pics of my dinner while waiting for the 5.
