Much to the relief of ice cream lovers throughout the city, a new ice cream shop has opened in Cole Valley despite having to jump through several city held hoops to get the small business open. The difficulty this particular shop faced seems to be common for many small businesses, an issue supervisors hope to take up soon.

The SF Examiner Editorial gives City Attorney Dennis Herrera and police Chief Greg Suhr a round of applause for thinking outside the box when it comes to dealing with the city’s worst crime areas. Looks like they agree that THOSE kind of drugs shouldn’t be sold at the corner store.
